Game with light
Amada restaurant is located in an old historic house in the center of Câmpulun, Romania. The interior of the restaurant represents a balance between the original elements of the house from the beginning of the century and modern elements. The combination of materials, textures and geometry is especially emphasized. During the reconstruction, solid wood and brick were used in combination with marble, concrete or gold metal. The atmosphere of the whole interior is created by the lighting and the way the light receives the individual shapes and materials. Sober black and white and black-gray backgrounds are best suited for the game of shapes and lights. Following the history of the building, our glossy porcelain switches were used in the restaurant. The architects also toyed with such details as the switch screws. Because of the pizza oven, which dominates the restaurant and is lined with gold-colored ceramics, they chose brass screws.
